SilverRock Resort
Managed by Landmark Golf Management and owned by the City of La Quinta, the Arnold Palmer Classic Course at SilverRock Resort spans 7,239 yards across 200 acres, offering a challenging golf experience. Featuring challenging bunkers and captivating water features, the course is set against the picturesque backdrop of the Santa Rosa Mountains. SilverRock Resort proudly served as the home course for the PGA Tour's American Express Golf Tournament from 2008 to 2011.
PGA West - Pete Dye Stadium Course
When golf enthusiasts think of PGA WEST®, it is often the Pete Dye Stadium Course that first comes to mind. Rated by Golf Digest as one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses" (2023-2024), few challenges in the realm of golf rival the excitement and challenges presented by this course.. At 7,300 yards, the Stadium Course has the highest stroke (76.1) and slope (150) ratings of all the courses at PGA WEST®. With five sets of tees, the Stadium is playable for all skill levels.
The Stadium Course plays host to The American Express™, a highly anticipated, charitable PGA Tour event held annually in January. The Stadium is also host to the PGA TOUR "Q-School" Finals
every other year.
PGA West - Pete Dye Mountain Course
Nestled at the foothills of the stunning Santa Rosa Mountains, The Mountain Course designed by Pete Dye features exceptional playability, and breathtaking aesthetics. This highly challenging course showcases distinctive elements such as pot bunkers, rock formations, varying tee box elevations, and meticulously bunkered greens. The mountain course plays 6666 yards at its longest with a rating of 72.8 and 135 slope.
PGA West - Pete Dye Dunes Course
The Dunes Course is a visual spectacle, with the desert's natural beauty and the dramatic landscape at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Crafted by Pete Dye, this links-style course takes a unique spin on the traditional Scottish approach. Emphasizing precision off the tee, it generously rewards strategically executed approach shots to its meticulously guarded greens. The Dunes course plays 6578 yards from the tips with a rating of 72.3 and slope of 134.
PGA West - Jack Nicklaus Course
A master class in course design by the golden bear himself Jack Nicklaus. This course is a masterful creation infused with a mix of challenge, beauty, and drama. On each shot, a new challenge awaits, including the rare feature of two island greens. Spanning 7,204 yards, The Nicklaus Tournament Course boasts a stroke rating of 75.3 and a slope rating of 143. The Jack Nicklaus course is a "must-play," not only for its challenging golf experience but also for the splendid desert backdrop.
The Nicklaus Tournament Course, alongside the Stadium Course, bi-annually hosts the PGA TOUR’s final round of Q-School, drawing some of the world's best players.
PGA West - Greg Norman Course
Sitting on 68 acres of meticulously manicured turf. The most recent addition to PGA WEST and the sole Greg Norman-designed golf course in the Coachella Valley is often characterized as "challenging but fair." The course is adorned with 102 white crushed marble bunkers and featuring shark-blue water on 9 holes, this 7,200-yard course delivers an "Outback" experience that you’ll want to play repeatedly. The fairways are tight and taper towards the green, nine ponds spanning 18 acres present a formidable challenge with accuracy required for all skill levels.
Situated in a prehistoric ocean bed, 40 feet below sea level, and embraced by a vast crescent of terra cotta mountains, the course bursts with vibrant hues. Purple, white, and yellow wildflowers flourish, while a mix of tall and short native grasses creates a spectrum of greens ranging from lush to silvery. Tight fairways cover just 60 acres, tapering toward the greens, accompanied by nine ponds spanning 18 acres. The demands of this target-style course present a formidable challenge for players across all skill levels. Rating 74.9, slope 138.
